Saving on Acne Treatment

After decades of spending thousands of dollars on ineffective acne treatments, I found Paula Begoun (The Cosmetics Cop) and her newly skincare brand, Paula’s Choice and I have never looked back.  Paula Begoun also started a website, Beautypedia, which evaluates skincare and cosmetics based on their ingredients.  For this article, I am using the information from Beautypedia to suggest cheaper alternatives to Paula’s Choice products.

Step 1 – Cleansing.  For years I washed my face with some really harsh products thinking they would help my acne.  Actually, they were making my so much skin worse.  Cleansers need to be gentle and formulated for sensitive skin.
